Chinese company Changan has unveiled an electric vehicle designed to challenge the Cybertruck trucks previously announced by Tesla.

What’s most attention-grabbing about the new car is its design, making it look like a sleek crossover, but it can transform into a modern pickup truck with the push of a button.

The roof glass moves to reveal a cargo bed, turning it into a pickup truck similar to those of the pickup truck category.

This vehicle incorporates SDA technology, allowing developers to enhance its self-driving systems, safety features, and automatic braking.

What sets this vehicle apart is its minimalist driving interface, replacing traditional buttons with a large touchscreen in the center of the dashboard.

Additionally, the car’s front roof is equipped with a movable extra screen that can be used to control vehicle technologies or watch videos and movies.

Changan has not disclosed many details about this new vehicle, but the information suggests that they will release two models.

One will be equipped with electric motors producing 245 horsepower, while the second model will have electric motors generating 408 horsepower.

These cars are expected to be released in 2024.
