The official unveiling of the new Toyota Century SUV marks the debut of the most expensive Japanese four-wheel-drive vehicle ever
Toyota has unveiled its entirely new luxury SUV, the Century SUV, which happens to be the most luxurious and expensive four-wheel-drive vehicle ever produced by Toyota.
In fact, it’s the most expensive Japanese four-wheel-drive vehicle in history, starting at around $170,000 – equivalent to 637,000 Saudi Riyals in Japan.
This new Century SUV features a unique emblem distinct from Toyota’s usual logo, showcasing a phoenix emblem on both the front and rear.
It also boasts eye-catching and attractive wheels.
The interior of the SUV is spacious and luxurious, accommodating just four seats to provide ample legroom and comfort.
Getting in and out of the rear seats is made easy thanks to electronically activated side steps.
The vehicle comes with rear doors that open at a 75-degree angle and offers the option for electric sliding rear doors similar to those found in minivans.
The Century SUV showcases a modern and appealing exterior design with split horizontal lights in the front and rear.
In terms of dimensions, it is slightly shorter but wider than the Century sedan version.
This new luxurious Japanese SUV relies on a 3.5-liter 6-cylinder plug-in hybrid engine, which it shares with the new Lexus TX, producing 406 horsepower and an all-wheel-drive system.
Toyota plans to produce only 30 units of the Century SUV per month, making it an extremely exclusive vehicle.
Multiple reports suggest that it will also be available in global markets.
