Ahmed Saad Responds to Social Media Criticism Over Outfit Choice in Jeddah Concert

Egyptian singer Ahmed Saad has broken his silence following the controversy sparked by his transparent outfit during his recent concert in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. In an interview after the concert, Saad expressed his exhilaration and happiness for performing in the city. He also spoke about his surprise phone call from the famed entertainment advisor Turki Al-Sheikh, who asked him to sing a song composed by Egyptian classical composer Baligh Hamdi.

Despite the criticism he received for his outfit, Saad thanked his fans for their support and expressed his enthusiasm for his next projects. The controversy arose after Saad appeared on stage wearing a transparent outfit that revealed his bare chest. Some social media users criticized Saad for failing to respect the traditions of Saudi Arabia, while others defended him for simply wearing what he felt comfortable performing in.

However, the incident did not seem to affect the singer’s popularity. The concert hall was packed and fans seemed to enjoy his performance. Saad’s collaboration with Amr Saad also received positive feedback from the audience.

Somaya’s relationship with Saad ended in a high-profile divorce, after 18 months on marrige in March 2019.
