Causes of Shark Appearance in Egypt

There are a number of factors that may contribute to the appearance of sharks in the coastal waters of Egypt, including:

  • Climate change: Climate change is leading to rising sea levels and increasing water temperatures, which provides more suitable habitats for sharks.
  • Overfishing: Overfishing is reducing the populations of smaller fish that sharks prey upon, forcing them to search for other food sources, such as humans.
  • Human activities: Human activities, such as swimming and diving, may attract sharks to coastal waters.

Risks of Shark Attacks

Sharks are apex predators, and while they do not attack humans frequently, shark attacks can be fatal.

Tips for Preventing Shark Attacks

There are a number of tips that can be followed to reduce the risk of a shark attack, including:

  • Do not swim or dive alone.
  • Do not swim or dive in shallow water or in areas with coral reefs.
  • Avoid wearing shiny clothing or accessories that may attract sharks.
  • Avoid swimming in polluted water.
