In response to Erik ten Hag… Sancho: I am a “scapegoat for long periods” at Manchester United

English star “Sancho” responded to his coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, confirming that he has been a scapegoat for long periods at Manchester United. This came after he was excluded from the team lineup that played against Arsenal in the English Premier League and suffered a 3-1 defeat on Sunday, September 3, 2023.

It is worth mentioning that Sancho did not travel with the team to London to play against Arsenal in the Premier League.

Ten Hag justified the player’s exclusion, saying, “We did not select Jadon Sancho due to his performance in training.”

English star Sancho responded to his coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer through his official account on the social media site, saying, “Do not believe everything you read. I will not allow some people to say things that are not true. I trained very well this week.”

Sancho continued, “I believe there are other matters regarding this issue that I will not talk about at all. I have been a scapegoat within the team, and this is not fair. Despite that, I respect all the decisions made by the coaching staff.”

It is worth mentioning that Sancho joined Manchester United in 2021 from Borussia Dortmund for a transfer fee of approximately £73 million. However, the player has faced many difficulties within the team, as he has only scored 12 goals in 82 matches he played with United.
