Egyptian star Mohamed Salah was included in the starting lineup of Liverpool Football Club in their match against Aston Villa on Sunday, September 3, 2023. This is despite speculation about the player’s potential move to Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad, following a lucrative offer made to him.
Some reports by British newspapers have stated that Liverpool has rejected a massive offer to let go of their star player Mohamed Salah in favor of Saudi club Al-Ittihad during the current summer transfer window.
Jurgen Klopp was asked about the possibility of Salah leaving the Reds, and he openly laughed and responded, saying: “It’s just a media story. There are many papers on my desk, but there is no paper indicating Mohamed Salah’s departure.”
Klopp added in his statements: “Salah had a fantastic week in training. From my perspective, there are no issues to consider.”
