French star Karim Benzema, who plays for Al-Ittihad Jeddah in the Saudi league, commented after his team’s defeat in the fifth round of the championship against Al-Hilal with a score of 4 goals to 3. Benzema promised Al-Ittihad fans to deliver better performances in the upcoming period.

Benzema posted a picture of the Al-Ittihad Jeddah team after the defeat against Al-Hilal on his official page and commented, saying: “Next time, we will give our best. Thank you for the continuous support, and we will come back stronger.”

Despite Al-Ittihad Jeddah leading Al-Hilal with a score of 3 goals to 1, Benzema and his teammates were unable to maintain the lead and suffered a defeat with a score of 4 goals to 3. As a result, Al-Ittihad Jeddah dropped to third place with 12 points, while Al-Hilal Saudi Club’s points increased to 13, leading the table.
Benzema scored a fantastic goal in that match with a heel kick against Al-Hilal’s Moroccan goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou.
Karim Benzema joined Al-Ittihad Jeddah during the current summer transfer window, coming from Real Madrid in Spain.
