Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – September 3, 2023 – Police in Saudi Arabia are investigating a viral video that shows two men assaulting another man with a knife in the Qassim region.

The video, which was first posted online in August 2022, shows the two men chasing the victim down a street and then attacking him with a knife. The victim is seen trying to defend himself, but he is eventually overpowered and stabbed several times.

In a statement released on Sunday, the Qassim police spokesperson said that the assault was the result of a dispute between the three men. The spokesperson said that the victim did not file a police report at the time of the assault.
The two attackers were later arrested in connection with other drug trafficking charges.
