BMW Unveils its Electric Prototype “Vision Neue Klasse”

German automaker BMW has unveiled its electric prototype “Vision Neue Klasse,” describing it as the dawn of a new era for the company.

Supporting the Next Generation of Electric Vehicles

The latest design from the company showcases the platform that will support the next generation of BMW electric vehicles, the first electric vehicles based on this architecture, known as Neue Klasse (which means “New Class” in German), are set to enter production in 2025.

Advancements in Car Batteries and Panoramic Vision

The new range of electric vehicles includes a significant advancement in BMW’s sixth-generation battery cells, improving both charging speed and range by up to 30%, thanks to these developments, the overall efficiency of the vehicle has increased by up to 25%.

Innovative Interior Design and Modern Technology

The car features an open interior space with four individual seats, and the front seats can be lowered to the floor, providing more legroom, the roof boasts a large panoramic glass roof, the vehicle also incorporates panoramic vision technology, reducing the reliance on touchscreen displays and instrument clusters.

Utilizing Electronic Ink

The car is equipped with small electronic ink displays with low power consumption and high contrast integrated into the side windows to welcome and inform the driver about touchpoints for unlocking the vehicle.
