The new “Pyrula” variant BA.2.86 is one of the new variants of the “Corona” virus that was recently announced and added to the list of variants under monitoring by the World Health Organization.
The sample was tested and tested positive for the new variant, and thus France joins the 15 countries in which at least one case of this variant was discovered, including the United States, Denmark, Sweden, and others.
Characteristics of the “Pyrula” mutant:-
The “Pyrula” mutant has a peculiarity that led to it being placed under surveillance by the World Health Organization, as it contains the spike protein, which allows COVID to penetrate human cells, with about 30 mutations that can facilitate infection and bypass immunity acquired through previous infection or vaccines.
