Recently, Barcelona has been making efforts to find a suitable way to offload the player. The team’s coach, Xavi Hernandez, does not currently require his services, and the club is also motivated by financial reasons. The management aims to achieve financial gains and relieve the club from his salary costs.

Noted Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed the agreement, stating that a preliminary deal has been reached between the administrations of Barcelona and Brighton for the loan of Ansu Fati to the English Premier League club.

Reports suggest that this agreement involves a one-year loan of Ansu Fati to Brighton until June 2024, without any preferential purchase clauses. The player’s market value is estimated to be around 35 million euros.

Ansu Fati traveled to England on Thursday to sign the contract and negotiate its details. This move is driven by the upcoming closure of the summer transfer window in England at the beginning of September 2023. Fati has agreed to the idea of leaving Barcelona in order to secure a chance to play as a key player in another team. The club welcomed the player’s arrival through its Twitter account.

Revolution under De Zerbi:

Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi is making significant efforts to bring in a group of young players to strengthen the squad, especially after the recent departure of several prominent figures. This includes Alexis Mac Alister’s move to Liverpool and the departures of Robert Sanchez and Moises Caicedo to Chelsea in a deal that was considered the most expensive in the history of the English Premier League.

With the successful completion of this deal, Brighton club will have surpassed Tottenham Hotspur in their earlier pursuit of the Spanish striker, in order to fill the void left by the departure of English star Harry Kane to Bayern Munich.
