Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad Jeddah is nearing a deal to sign Egyptian star Mohamed Salah from Premier League side Liverpool, according to reports in both Saudi Arabia and England.

Saudi newspaper Okaz reported on Thursday that the Al-Ittihad Jeddah negotiations had been successful, and that Salah would be flying to Jeddah on a private jet on Friday.
British newspaper Sky Sports reported that the Saudi Professional League was still determined to sign Salah from Liverpool, and that the club had offered a fee of up to £150 million.
The report also said that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp would have until 11pm on Friday to sign a replacement for Salah before the transfer window closed until January.
Salah is one of the most sought-after players in the world, and his potential move to Saudi Arabia would be a major coup for the league.
The 29-year-old has been in outstanding form for Liverpool since joining the club in 2017, scoring 156 goals in 254 appearances. He has won the Premier League, the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup, and the FIFA Club World Cup with Liverpool.
