Hurricane Adalia hits the coast of Florida
Earlier in the day, the U.S. National Hurricane Center reported that Hurricane Adalia hit the Florida coast.
Just wanted to give you an update that we are all safe where we live in SW Florida. Even though Hurricane Adalia hit landfall at the panhandle we did get a lot of rain and winds. Our pool flooded but thank God our house is ok. And It’s still raining 💦 pic.twitter.com/qfSlhLDQbe

Earlier, the US National Hurricane Center announced that Tropical Storm “Idalia” is on its way since Tuesday morning towards Florida, while local authorities urged residents to finish their preparations and quickly evacuate from their homes in low-lying areas along the coast of Tampa Bay with warnings that the storm will hit the state within days as a major and potentially life-threatening hurricane.
With the current preparations in Florida, Adalia hit Cuba with heavy rains that have greatly affected the western part of the island, where the province of Pinar del Rio is still recovering from the devastation wrought by Hurricane Ian almost a year ago.
