Open.AI a leading artificial intelligence company, announced on Monday that it will be releasing an enterprise version of Chat GPT targeting large corporations. This move further intensifies the overlap between Open.AI and Microsoft, which financially supports the latter, for their respective clients.
According to Open.AI, Chat GPT Enterprise will offer more secure, private, and faster access to chatbot technology. Among the early adopters of this technology are companies like Block, Carlisle, and Estée Lauder.
A Reuters survey revealed that many individuals in the United States are using Chat GPT to assist them with work-related tasks despite their companies not fully endorsing it.
By launching Chat GPT Enterprise Open.AI hopes to garner support from companies by addressing their concerns regarding using chatbot technology in the workplace. Both Open.AI and Microsoft have previously offered integrated services but the level of competition between the two companies in attracting clients remains unclear. When asked if Chat GPT Enterprise competes with Microsoft in attracting customers, an Open.AI spokesperson stated “Customers have the choice to select the appropriate platform for their business.”
