WhatsApp has recently rolled out a new update through the TestFlight beta program, bumping the version up to 23.10.0.76.
What’s new this time from WhatsApp
This update introduces captivating design improvements to the widely-used messaging app, specifically a translucent effect for the tab bar.

Although this design change is not yet visible in the current version of the app, we can confirm that it will be incorporated in an upcoming update. The translucent tab bar is set to provide a more contemporary and visually appealing look, further enhancing the overall user experience.
A transparent tab bar update was available before
The translucent effect was once a prevalent element in the interface but was removed by WhatsApp in prior versions. Its reappearance is expected to positively impact the app’s aesthetics and user satisfaction.
Currently under development, the translucent tab bar is scheduled for release in a future update. As more information about this feature becomes available, we will publish follow-up articles to keep you informed.
