Amazon has recently announced its latest tablet device, the Amazon Fire Max 11, priced at $230.
This tablet marks the largest addition to Amazon’s Fire tablet series.
The Amazon Fire Max 11 features an 11-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 1200×2000 pixels.
The screen is designed to emit reduced blue light, minimizing eye strain and preventing sleep disturbances when used at night.
The device showcases a more distinctive design compared to previous models, with thinner bezels and an aluminum frame, weighing only around 450 grams (1 pound).
Amazon claims that the device is three times more durable than the tenth-generation iPad, for example.
Under the hood, the Amazon Fire Max 11 boasts moderate internal specifications.
It is equipped with an octa-core MediaTek processor, which Amazon claims is around 50% faster than its previous top-performing device.
The tablet is available in two storage options, 64GB and 128GB, with 4GB of RAM.
It features a battery that can last up to 14 hours, an 8-megapixel front and rear camera, and supports Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.
Additionally, there is a fingerprint sensor embedded in power button.
Running on Amazon’s Fire OS 8, which is based on Android, the Amazon Fire Max 11 offers features such as split-screen multitasking and picture-in picture mode, enhancing the user’s ability to perform multiple tasks on the large screen.
The operating system also includes “Show Mode”, which transforms the tablet into a smart screen for controlling smart home devices.
It supports the intelligent voice assistant, Alexa, for executing voice commands and provides various parental control options and account sharing features for family members.
Furthermore, Amazon offers optional accessories for device, including a stylus and a protective cover with attached magnetic keyboard.
These can be purchased together for $100 or separately for $35 for the stylus and #90 for the cover.
The Amazon Fire Max 11 is competitively priced at $230, making it more affordable compared to Samsung Galaxy Tab, Apple iPad, or Microsoft Surface devices.
The tablet will be available for order through the official Amazon website.
