Saudi-Turkish-Pakistani Tripartite Committee discusses defence co-operation

Yesterday evening, the Saudi-Turkish-Pakistan Tripartite Commission held its first meeting in Riyadh to discuss defence cooperation.

Ministry of Defense, saying who attended:-

The Ministry of Defence of Saudi Arabia reported that the meeting was attended by the Assistant Minister of Defence, Talal Al-Otaibi; the General Chief of the General Staff of the Pakistani Army, Lt Gen Mohammed Said; and the Deputy Minister of Defence of Turkey, Silal Sami Tovakshi.

The Saudi Press Agency announced that the Turkish-Pakistan Tripartite Commission had held its first meeting in the capital to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in the area of defence, adding that the Saudi-Pakistani Task Force had also held a meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Ataibi and Mr. Gene Said on Wednesday evening.

Discussion of developments in the defence industry:-

During the meeting, they discussed developments in the defence industry, as well as the transfer and localization of technology and scientific research.

The Saudi-Turkish Task Force also held a meeting under the chairmanship of Mr. Al-Otaibi and Mr. Tovakchi, in the presence of Haluk Gorgon, Chairman of the Turkish Defence Industry Agency (TSB).
