Athletic: Maguire’s move to West Ham failed
Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has failed to move to West Ham.
According to the American network “The Athletic” in a report, although West Ham reached an agreement with United to sign Maguire for £30 million, the English defender did not reach an agreement with the London club.
Maguire never spoke to West Ham manager David Moyes.
Maguire’s contract with United expires in the summer of 2025.
Maguire is not central to coach Erik ten Hag’s plans, who insisted the player must fight for games.
Maguire was stripped of the captain’s armband before the start of the current season and Bruno Fernandes became captain.
