Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese star of Al-Nassr Saudi club, sent a message to the team’s global fans after successfully qualifying for the final of the King Salman Champions Cup by defeating Iraqi Al-Shorta Club with a goal.
Ronaldo, known as “Madeira Rocket”, led Al-Nassr to a valuable victory over Iraqi Al-Shorta Club with a goal scored in the 75th minute from a penalty kick.
Al-Nassr fans attended to support their team, which excelled at the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Stadium in Abha, in the semi-final of the Arab Championship.
Ronaldo contributed to his team’s ascension to the final of the King Salman Cup for Clubs, with great support from the Al-Nassr fans who rallied to support Ronaldo and his teammates.
It is worth mentioning that Ronaldo posted a picture on his Twitter account, saying, “We reached the final, we did it together, good job by all the team members.”
Ronaldo added, “Special thanks to our fans for their amazing support, always pushing us forward!”
It is worth mentioning that Al-Nassr will face Al-Hilal Club, making the final of the King Salman Cup for Arabian Clubs a 100% Saudi match.
The clash between Al-Hilal and Al-Nassr comes after the victory of the “leader” against Al-Shabab with three goals against one in the second semifinal of the tournament.
Despite playing most of the match with ten players after Abdullah Al-Muaiouf, the goalkeeper, was sent off, Al-Hilal managed to reach the final.
