Respiratory Irritation… Important Warning from the National Meteorology to all Citizens and Expatriates
The National Center of Meteorology issued a warning on Tuesday, August 1st, about the impact of dust on the respiratory system, the center stated in one of its posts on its official Twitter account that dust particles irritate the respiratory system and can cause nasal allergies.
The National Center of Meteorology emphasized the importance of early warning, as it plays a vital role in helping people prepare for changing weather conditions and ensuring everyone’s safety.
The center is always keen on providing early warnings to citizens about all weather changes, in order to safeguard the health and safety of all citizens in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from any weather-related health risks.
The National Center of Meteorology announced that some areas in the Kingdom experienced extreme heat on Tuesday.
Al-Ahsa recorded 50 degrees Celsius, Al-Qaysumah recorded 48 degrees Celsius, and Dammam recorded 49 degrees Celsius.
Other areas, including Arar, Riyadh, Buraidah, Wadi Al-Dawasir, and Sharurah, recorded temperatures of 46 degrees Celsius.
Therefore, it is essential to take all safety precautions and preventive measures to cope with the high temperatures.
