In shocking news for his fans, Euphoria champion Angus Cloud died at the age of 25 at his family home in Auckland on Monday morning, July 31.
According to TMZ, there are no details on the cause of his death, which came a week after his father’s death, but his family issued a statement saying goodbye to their deceased that read: “We had to say goodbye to a wonderful human being today. As an artist, friend, brother and son, Angus Cloud was special to all of us.”
“Last week his father was buried and he suffered greatly from this loss. The only comfort we enjoy is knowing that Angus has now reunited with his father, who was his best friend. Angus was talking to people about his battle with mental health and hopefully his death was a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this alone in silence.”
The family concluded their statement: “We hope the world will remember him for his sense of humor, laughter and love for everyone. We ask for privacy at this time……”.
Who is Angus Cloud?
Angus is best known for her role as Fezco in the Emmy Award-winning drama series on HBO channel “Euphoria”. He was a major character in the first two seasons of the show. Among his other acting works are the films “North Hollywood” (2021) and “The Line” (2023).
He was recently cast opposite Melissa Pereira in a new horror film for Universal Pictures with directors Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett.
