Reliable Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, revealed a surprise of heavy caliber to Paris Saint-Germain fans, regarding the transfer of Ousmane Dembele from Barcelona to the French club.
Paris Saint-Germain management wants to sign Dembélé to strengthen the team’s attacking line next season in order to compete for the championship that Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the club’s owner, aspires to achieve, which is the Champions League.
Romano: Dembélé’s move to Paris Saint-Germain is a matter of time
Fabrizio Romano posted on his official Twitter account that PSG will sign Dembele on Monday, after revealing an exciting clause in his contract with Barcelona.
Romano said Dembélé’s contract with Barcelona allows the player to leave the Blaugrana in exchange for a €50m penalty clause before the start of August.
So, the management of Paris Saint-Germain will release the player from Barcelona for this amount, before doubling to €100m by the first minute of the beginning of next month, as stipulated in his contract with the Spanish league champions.
Mbappe one step away from Real Madrid move
On the other hand, Kylian Mbappe, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, came close to leaving the Parc des Princes, after he received a fabulous offer from the Saudi club Al Hilal before Mbappe rejected the offer.
