Mercedes-AMG GLC 2024, its power reached 671 horsepower

The official images of the 2024 Mercedes AMG GLC models, including the GLC 43 and GLC 63 S E Performance, have been published online.

Following the introduction of the new GLC and GLC Coupe, German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the high-performance AMG versions of these luxury crossover models.

The 2024 Mercedes AMG GLC43 and Mercedes AMG GLC63 S E Performance are among the most powerful GLC variants to date.

The GLC43 remains the standard version of the high-performance AMG models, It features a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine with EQ Boost and a mild-hybrid system, producing 416 horsepower (421 European PS).

Additionally, an extra 13 horsepower is available at lower speeds when relying on the electric generator, The torque output for this car is 500 Newton-meters.

The engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and utilizes the 4Matic all-wheel-drive system.

The new GLC43 AMG accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 4.8 seconds.

As for the GLC63 S E Performance, it abandons the V8 engine in favor of a hybrid system.

It combines a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder turbo engine producing 469 horsepower (476 European PS) and 545 Newton-meters of torque, with a newly downsized plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system called EQ Power.

Together, the power output of the combined engines reaches 671 horsepower (680 European PS) and 1,020 Newton-meters of torque.

The GLC63 S E Performance accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 3.5 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 275 km/h (171 mph).

Like the GLC43, the Mercedes 63 comes with a 9-speed automatic transmission and standard 4Matic all-wheel drive.

Optionally, it can be equipped with the fully variable 4Matic+ system, which can send up to 100% of available power to the rear wheels.

The visual upgrades between these two AMG models and the regular 2024 Mercedes AMG GLC Coupe and SUV should be evident, They include a grille with vertical chrome bars and a central Mercedes-Benz star, larger air vents, and additional chrome accents scattered across the front fascia of both vehicles.

At the rear, the GLC43 features dual-round exhaust pipes, while the GLC63 opts for a more aggressive look with quad-exhaust outlets.

The interior cabin has been significantly enhanced, featuring standard MB-Tex upholstery and microfiber or optional full Nappa leather with AMG logos embroidered on the front headrests.

Buyers seeking a sportier experience can choose the performance seats.
