Tragic Traffic Accident Ends the Life of Palestinian Minister Qadri Abu Bakr and Two Others in the West Bank
A horrific traffic accident resulted in the death of three individuals, including Qadri Abu Bakr, the Palestinian Minister and Head of the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission, on Saturday in the West Bank.
Palestinian media outlets reported that Minister Abu Bakr met his untimely death in an accident near the town of Jama’in, south of Nablus.
The official Palestinian news agency (WAFA) quoted the official spokesperson of the Palestinian police, Colonel Luay Erzikat, stating that three people, including the head of the Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs Commission, Major General Qadri Abu Bakr, died in a horrific traffic accident on the road leading northeast of Salfit.
According to the agency, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas mourned Minister Qadri Abu Bakr, expressing his warm condolences to the family of the deceased and the Palestinian people, he prayed for God to envelop the deceased in His vast mercy, grant him paradise, and inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace.
