Samsung is known for its commitment to updating its Galaxy series smartphones to the latest Android system for a period of 4 years and providing security updates for 5 years for flagship models.

Google announced the Android 14 system earlier this year, and it has already been tested on Pixel phones.

Three consecutive beta versions of Android 14 have been released so far, and the system has now reached a stable level, allowing Samsung to initiate its beta program with One UI 6.

Normally, Samsung waits for the final public release of the new Android version from Google before starting its beta program, ensuring maximum system stability.

However, this year, Samsung may accelerate the process and begin its beta program earlier, potentially leading to the release of the One UI 6 update before the end of this year.

Samsung is also expected to unveil its new foldable phones, such as the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, along with other products at a press conference in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, at the end of July.

Android 14 introduces numerous improvements and new features, including enhanced battery consumption, user privacy enhancements, and device security.

Additionally, it offers new options for customizing the interface, such as AI-generated wallpapers, Samsung will incorporate these features into its custom One UI interface, built on the Android operating system.
