The opportunity for Real Madrid’s two players to join Zidane at Juventus has been declined by them

According to reports, the possibility of Karim Benzema and Luka Modric teaming up with Zinedine Zidane at Juventus has been turned down by both Real Madrid players.

According to El Nacional, Massimiliano Allegri will not be continuing as the coach of Juve in the upcoming season. Although currently on a break after leaving Madrid in 2021, Zidane is reportedly tempted by the opportunity to take on the role of the Old Lady’s new boss.

In an ideal scenario, he would have preferred to bring two of his former Real Madrid players with him if he were to come to the Allianz Stadium. One of them is Benzema, who is currently 35 years old and whose contract with Los Blancos will end in June.

There are uncertainties about whether Benzema will continue playing for Madrid. His contract is ending, plus concerns about his age and physical fitness. Zidane is aware that Benzema has no intention of transferring to Juventus. Should the striker decide to leave Los Merengues and stay in Europe, he will only consider Ligue 1 or the Premier League.

As per the report, Modric, who is 37 years old, has reportedly declined an opportunity to join the Old Lady and is now being considered for a transfer to the Saudi Pro League. The speculation around his future at Santiago Bernabeu has intensified with the anticipated arrival of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund.

If Zidane takes over from Allegri, it is apparent that his ex-players are not enticed by the prospect of joining the Serie A team. Due to a 10-point deduction, the club will not participate in the Champions League in the upcoming season.
