Chinese company Honor has revealed its latest budget- friendly wireless earbuds, the Honor Earbuds X5, in conjunction with the announcement of the new Honor 90 series smartphones.
The company showcased the earbuds during a press conference held in Beijing, China.
The Honor Earbuds X5 offers all the essential features expected from wireless earbuds, although it lacks advanced functionalities such as Active Noise Cancellation (ANC).
The earbuds sport a distinctive design, with a round-shaped charging case and a resemblance to Apple AirPods.
They are available in white and orange colors.
The earbuds connect wirelessly to devices via Bluetooth and support Multipoint Connection technology, enabling them to connect to multiple devices simultaneously with easy switching between them.
Users can control various functions such as answering calls, adjusting volume, and more through touch controls on the earbuds.
With a decent battery life of up to 27 hours, including charging case usage, the earbuds offer extended listening time.
They can be paired with various devices, especially Honor smartphones, ensuring quick and seamless connectivity.
The earbuds can also be managed through the Honor AI Space app, which is available for free download on Google Play Store and App Store.
Through the app, users have control over features, including sound equalizer adjustments and locating misplaced earbuds.
Honor plans to release the Honor Earbuds X5 at an affordable price, estimated to be below $50.
It is expected to be available in global markets alongside the new Honor 90 series smartphones, providing a competitive option in the same price range as other earbuds like the Oppo Enco R2, announced earlier by Oppo.
