New Report on Green Digital Skills Released
During the session, a pivotal report titled “Dual Skills Needed for a Dual Transition: Identifying Green Digital Skills and Jobs” was unveiled, this report, a collaborative effort between Huawei, Athena Research Center, AE4RIA’s Sustainable Development Unit, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and EIT Digital, aims to outline pathways for developing training programs that prepare the workforce for climate neutrality.
Expert Insights and Emphasis on Innovation
Vicky Chang from Huawei opened the session, underscoring the report’s significance in developing green digital skills, Salvatore Mutcha of EIT Digital highlighted the increasing need to identify and evolve skills in the green digital transformation, Barbara Botos, the Climate Ambassador of Hungary’s Energy Ministry, stressed the importance of green energy and the necessity for balanced development across sectors.
