According to Reuters, a government official stated today that the businessman and billionaire, Elon Musk, is expected to attend the global Artificial Intelligence summit set to be held this week in the United Kingdom.
The UK will bring together representatives from artificial intelligence companies, political leaders, and experts in early November to discuss what some perceive as the risks posed by artificial intelligence, with the goal of building international consensus on the safe development of this technology.
The summit’s agenda includes discussions on topics such as unexpected advancements in artificial intelligence and the potential for humans to lose control over this technology.
The summit will see the participation of renowned global leaders, including U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, many other prominent figures are expected to attend, although the complete list of participants has not yet been announced.
