Seismic Activity Strikes Vanuatu and Indonesia: Prophesied Dutch Seismologist’s Predictions Fulfilled?”
The seismic landscape rumbles as a 6.3 magnitude earthquake jolts Vanuatu, while Indonesia feels the impact of a 5.5 magnitude tremor, in alignment with a controversial forecast made by Dutch seismologist, Frank Hoogerbeets.
According to the German Research Center for Geosciences, the 6.3 magnitude earthquake shook the region of Vanuatu on Sunday, registering a depth of 94 kilometers. Simultaneously, on Saturday evening, the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Center reported a 5.5 magnitude earthquake striking Kepulauan Barat Daya in Indonesia, with its epicenter located approximately 375 kilometers northeast of Kupang.
Hoogerbeets, the controversial Dutch seismic predictor, raised alarms through a tweet on his “X” platform account, reiterating a celestial bulletin issued by the SSGEOS, an organization under his leadership. He warned of a convergence involving at least five planetary alignments that began on Friday and extend until October 30, underlining the significance of these alignments coinciding with the full moon.
Five lunar conjunctions and five planetary conjunctions in the next three days. I explained this geometry in the latest video. Potential for strong to major seismic activity.https://t.co/Lr22avgaKH https://t.co/yid8yPUbzT

The focal point of his warning was the quadruple alignment of Mars, Mercury, Earth, and Jupiter, arranged nearly in a straight line during this specified period. Hoogerbeets suggested that the moon’s alignment with Jupiter, Mercury, Mars, and the Sun would generate immensely potent electromagnetic currents, potentially resulting in significant seismic activity.
While he pinpointed October 31 as the anticipated date, Hoogerbeets acknowledged the unpredictability, stating, “We don’t precisely know when larger quakes will occur due to this configuration, but I expect around the 31st of the month, give or take a day or two… Anticipate significant seismic activity.”
He concluded by emphasizing the need to observe the Earth’s response, dubbing this a remarkably intriguing week and advising to remain on heightened alert.
However, scientists continue to assert that no scientific method enables earthquake prediction before its occurrence. Yet, Hoogerbeets’ controversial notoriety resurfaces with each seismic tremor, as he claims, “I foresaw this earthquake… and warned of this tremor.”
