The Tampa Police reported that the shooting incident occurred in the historic Ybor City neighborhood, near a cluster of bars and clubs, during the early hours of Sunday. The once-crowded streets were plunged into chaos as a confrontation escalated into a hail of bullets.
Disturbing videos circulating on social media captured the frantic scene, with people fleeing for their lives as at least 12 gunshots echoed through the night. Police officers rushed to the aid of victims lying wounded on the sidewalks.

A Tampa Police report stated, “Investigations are still in their initial stages, but evidence points to a fight between two groups that escalated into gunfire, resulting in the death of one man at the scene and 19 victims being transported to nearby hospitals.”
Tragically, one of the injured victims succumbed to their wounds at the hospital.
Authorities have made one arrest in connection to the shooting, and a manhunt is underway to locate any additional suspects believed to have been involved in this horrific incident.
