Cristiano Ronaldo shines in Al-Nassr’s thrilling victory over Al-Duhail in the AFC Champions League
Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo had a remarkable performance during the match between Saudi club Al-Nassr and Qatari club Al-Duhail in the third round of the group stage of the AFC Champions League. The match took place on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Al-First Park Stadium, Ronaldo managed to score two goals and provide an assist, contributing to Al-Nassr’s hard-fought victory over Al-Duhail with a score of 4-3.

Talisca opened the scoring for Al-Nassr in the 25th minute of the first half with an assist from Cristiano Ronaldo, After 11 minutes into the second half, Senegalese star Sadio Mane added the second goal for Al-Nassr, Then, Ronaldo scored his first goal and the third for his team in the 61st minute of the second half, making the score 3-0.

However, Al-Duhail managed to reduce the deficit in the 63rd minute through Ismail Mohammed, and then his teammate Al-Moez added the second goal for Al-Duhail in the 67th minute, bringing the score to 3-2.

Ronaldo returned and scored his second goal and the fourth for Al-Nassr in the 80th minute of the second half. However, Al-Duhail managed to narrow the gap in the 85th minute, resulting in a marathon-like match ending with Al-Nassr winning 4-3.
With this victory, Al-Nassr raises their points to nine and tops the standings in Group 5, while Al-Duhail’s Qatari club remains with only one point.”
