As social media platforms flooded with distressing footage, they captured terrified attendees—both young men and women—screaming and scattering in different directions. Media reports confirm the recovery of over 260 bodies from the event’s location.

Among those who miraculously survived this ordeal was Ghai Danon. He shared a heart-wrenching video clip where he can be seen visibly terrified, breathing heavily as he hid among the trees while Hamas gunmen fired around him.

In an interview with the American news network CNN, Danon stated:
“It was truly horrifying. We were in the dark, not knowing if we’d be shot next. The gunshots felt too close, making us feel trapped. We believed our end was near. Accompanied by two friends, we sought refuge amidst some bushes, thinking the place was nearly inaccessible. Thus, we stayed hidden for a gruesome eight hours until help arrived.”
