Unlocking New Opportunities for Content Creators: (Post) Post App Now on Android

Post, the alternative platform to (formerly Twitter), targeted at publishers, has made its way to the Android operating system with new tools that will make it easier for content creators to publish their newsletter content on the platform.

Through this move, writers will have additional opportunities to generate income from their current posts, thanks to (Post) Post’s micro-payment system, users pay a small amount to access individual items in their feed.

So far, the company has signed up more than 100 publishing partners, including (Fortune), (The Independent), (Insider), (LA Times), (NBC News), (Politico), (Reuters), (MIT Technology Review), (USA Today), (Wired), (World Politics Review), (CNN), (Semafor), (Mashable), (The New Yorker), (Yahoo Finance), and many others.

However, the new content creator tools will democratize publishing, benefiting small publishers such as individual newsletter writers.

To use this feature, the app includes a one-time setup process that allows content creators to syndicate their content through (Post) Post automatically, much like importing an RSS feed. At launch, the company says 115 creators have been working with the (Post) Post app to test and utilize these new tools, with more expected to join as the tools roll out to the general public.

(Post) Post, founded by former Waze CEO Noam Bardin, uses a micro-payment system where users can purchase bundles of “points” that they use to pay for individual news articles.

For instance, 300 points equal $4.20 USD, but you can buy up to 10,000 points for a 9.5% discount at $126.70 USD.

(Post) Post makes revenue by taking a small percentage of these sales, with Bardin previously stating that the average cost per thousand impressions publishers get from the (Post) Post platform is $25 for paid posts.

It’s worth noting that the (Post) Post app is available on Apple’s iOS, as well as desktop.

All three platforms include a number of new features, including original video uploads, instant notifications, trending topics, expanded editing tools, sharing capabilities, and auto-saving.
