Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hassnawi, and Interior Minister, Abdul Amir Al-Shamri, were personally involved in directing rescue operations. Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani has ordered the Interior and Health Ministries to exhaust all resources in providing relief to the victims.
