WWE SmackDown will be moving from FOX to USA Network in October 2024. The deal is worth $1.4 billion over five years and includes the production of four WWE specials on NBC.
SmackDown will continue to air on Friday nights as usual, but this means that USA will lose the rights to air RAW or NXT. The future of those shows is currently uncertain.
WWE was recently sold to Endeavor in another deal, and WWE joined UFC under the name TKO Group, with Vince McMahon taking over as CEO of the new company.
SmackDown is currently doing well, even though Roman Reigns is not on the show. The Rock returned to the ring on the latest episode of SmackDown and faced Austin Theory in an exciting segment. The Rock ended the segment with his signature People’s Elbow on Theory, with Pat McAfee also performing the move. John Cena, Bobby Lashley, and Rey Mysterio also appeared on the show and put on great performances.
We are looking forward to the next episode of SmackDown, which will feature John Cena and will see more excitement and suspense in the storylines and rivalries.
